What to expect: Our Physician Assistant will conduct an aesthetic evaluation to make sure you and her are on the same page of what you really want. Then we apply topical numbing gel which will make your experience more comfortable. Further local numbing can also be done for patients that are more sensitive to discomfort. Thorough cleaning of the area being treated is done to prevent infection. Then the fun part begins: the Physician Assistant starts the art of injecting the filler, contouring your lips, and bringing volume where needed. Immediately after the procedure, expect localized swelling and potentially some bruising, both of which gradually resolve over 1-2 weeks. We will schedule you for a follow up in a week and any touch up needed is then done.
Medi Spa at Choto’s favorite product for this area is Restylane Kysse because it provides a natural-looking volume that enhances the texture and color of the lips and lasts up to one year. It is a very flexible filler that allows you to maintain normal movement and expressions.
So what is the price? Fillers run from $600-$700 depending on the area that needs to be treated. Restylane Kysse is $700 per syringe and you will more than likely utilize one full syringe if your lips need volume and bordering. The more volume is needed, the more product needs to be injected. We usually run specials and discounts for multiple syringe purchases.
